Structured Family Care
In Indiana, Structured Family Care is a Medicaid waiver program that pays tax free daily income to people (typically family members) who live with and care for an aging loved one. Eligible caregivers can include spouses, adult children, or another who lives with you and provides round-the-clock supervision and daily living support.
Private Pay
Private Pay caregiver care is paying for services using personal funds, like savings, to pay out-of- pocket for non-medical in-home care. Medicare and standard health insurance typically do not cover long term non-medical care.
Medicaid and VA
This Indiana program is funded by Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and is a Medicaid Waiver program that provides attendant care and homemaker services. Compensation is paid directly to our agency for providing daily living assistance. This program does not require the caregiver to live with the client/ recipient. IN-Home Care NWI would work with your insurance company Case Manager to arrange this service and care plan. We would typically provide the Attendant care and Homemaker services
